Upper Falls Trail

Elevation Gain: 442 Feet
Difficulty: Easy
Location: Provo, UT
Hiking to the first waterfall is easy and gives a great view of Provo Canyon. Also, it is much less trafficked than Bridal Veil and most of the time you have the trail to yourself!. You can continue to the next waterfall, but it gets more dangerious as the trail is thinner and non-existant in parts. Definitely a fun, and easy, adventure. I definitely recommend this hike if you are crunched for time because you can easily finish in an hour if you just go to the first waterfall. Last time we visited in March we took a couple of friends with us. One had been complaining that he has lived in Utah for so long and never seen a mountain goat. Then we saw one on the trail!!! It was a magical moment.
