Goblin Valley

Goblin Valley

Taking a trip to Goblin Valley was the perfect day trip! We were able to spend the whole day there and get home before midnight. The three hour drive from Provo was great listening to Daniel's country playlist and passing a ton of small cities with interesting names. Overall, it was a gorgeous drive.

Goblin Valley was phenomenal. The hiking was fun with random caves and slot canyons to find along the way. Each hoodoo was unique and the hike was very different than any of the hikes around Provo!

Tips for Visiting Goblin Valley:

1. Bring sunscreen! Also, if you forget your sunscreen like we did you can buy some, way overpriced, at the Visitor's Center when you enter the park.
2. Make sure you bring a small backpack to carry water with you. We did not realize how much there was to explore in the park and we wish that we would have carried more water with us.
3. Explore the back of the park and not just the hoodoos near the parking lot. The back of the park with the larger monuments is where you will find the caves and slot canyons.
